UNBOUND : Which was the Stones first Wireless Tour ?

Which was the first "wireless" tour... guitars and microphones? Around 1981 or so?

Wires vs. wireless:
Not tied anymore to the center of a stage... that was certainly a major change in the theatrics of Stones concerts.

1981, but only for Mick, Keith and Ronnie.
Bill, Charlie, Ernie, Bobby, Stu, Mac and Chuck were slill "wired"....

In 1975/1976 and 1978 Mick used partly a wireless mic.
Probably caused by the fact that the batterie only would work for 15 or 20 minutes.

Ironically, even then Mick was still Wired All Night.

Jagger used a wireless on occassion in '75.
They all went wireless for guitars on the '78 tour (made by Nady).
Neil Young used a Nady wireless for the Rust Never Sleeps tour in '78.
