Yeah, same thing here... I also don't understand the remark about Beggars Banquet. Fixing the speed (which was OBVIOUSLY and AUDIBLY wrong) was The Right Thing®, dynamic range compression is not.Quote

Too bad about the loudness, I don't see what is the point in that at all. It ruins the dynamics.

The reason for the LOUDNESS is so when the tracks get played on ( already over compressed radio ) the tracks hold up to the current trend of whatever mastering converters they are using today. ie: So it does not sound worse than any other songs played on rock radio today.
