the thinking mans metal band queensryche just announced their new 2009 studio album will be called "american soldier" and the songs will be from the perspective of soldiers in war time area's. singer geoff tate has conducted tons of interviews with wounded soldiers to help get idea's for songs. it will be released in spring 2009

I have met Geoff. A sweeter, more humble guy you wouldn't meet in a day's walk. Very soft spoken, no attitude at all. More than can be said for the other band members. They used to come to a sandwich shop I worked at.
