Going back and thinking about this and seeing Ride On Baby maybe all of their work pre Jumping Jack Flash!! Exludindin Satisfaction and Paint It Black a lot of this stuff is neglected by the classic rock radio format and is not widely known outside of the Stones fan base.

Too much of their post 1990 songs receive nothing but neglect from the band themselves when creating their setlists. Jump On Top Of Me, Sparks Will Fly, Moon Is Up, Brand New Car, Too Tight, Already Over Me, Keys To Your Love, She Saw Me Coming, Driving Too Fast.
Let's not forget the singles from the era that they don't play anymore such as Out Of Control, Saint Of Me, Out Of Tears, Rough Justice, Don't Stop.

Luckily for us, Keith often plays his material from the era, which I think is a great thing to do, especially when it's such gems as You Don't Have To Mean It and Thief in the Night.

The first song I thought of was Backstreet Girl.

"Turd On The Run". It swings like a juke joint on fire.

"In Another Land". A minor psychedelic masterpiece.

"I Got The Blues". We all love Sticky Fingers, but rarely mentions this fine tip of the hat to Stax.

Jivin' Sister Fanny, anyone?
Great tempo, wonderful stripped-down sound & arrangement, marvelous guitar playing...

Interesting coverversions around, from Izzy Stradlin a.o., and some guy on YouTube (doin' a note-by-note 'play along' on the Taylor parts)

Oh yeah ... and I'm Going Down too !!!

"Out of Time" is my favorite of the sixies

Got to be Slave for me. What a groove. It sounds a little unfinished with lyrics, but they are funny as hell.

...and also Going Home ...reason: It's Stones only contribution to songs over 10 minutes..

Love 'em all and couldn't care less if they are under/over appreciated played too much not played enough or if someone likes or hates the lyrics...

I just love 'em all, and I like it.

It's Not Easy.

"Still I am the same old me/You say I lack maturity."

Great couplet.

coming down again
...the list could be endless....just a comment on Tops, I always assumed it was Keith and Ronnie....was it a left over from the Mick Taylor days then?

Heart Of Stone... maybe it is more a great recording (than a great song). But it sounds cool!

"Sittin'on a Fence" very good composition with a nice melody. I never heard it live unfortunately. I think they never did this tune in any concert.

Yes, "Slave", definitely. Even if they never played it live (though they tried one time, some years ago). It's great there is the original 11 minutes+ version on bootleg also. Love that tune.

...and most overappreciated song is: Rock and a Hard place, even by Mick&Keith...it's a song desperately constructed to sound like rock, but it doesn't...
