This sort of tragic event is thankfully rare in Finland. To me, it's especially creepy, as I'm currently reading an account of the Finns' heroic stand during the "Talvisota" (Winter War) of November 1939-March 1940 against the invading Russians.
The Finns are an admirable people, so my heartfelt sympathies go out to the families of the victims.
A telling part of this story is that the shooter survived his onscene suicide attempt, and (according to latest reports) will live to face charges.

Ah, what a drag, Finland's a great place with very nice people - Love Helsinki. Of course all this negative garbage starts in the USA these days with our "Guns For Sale Everywhere" twisted low brain power policy... CNN shows ya how it's done and puts your picture on TV - NATURAL BORN KILLERS !!! Poor people up there are totally not used to this, must be in horrible shock... DEEPEST SYMPATHY TO ALL THE VICTIMS OF THE MAKERS AND MASTERS OF WAR !!! be it in the streets or country against country it's all the same pigs who make the weapons who make the money who fill our world full of chaos and destruction....
