150 pounds was quite a lot of money in 1963,in those days you were on the road a lot and STU would have been driving and most money went on food,accomodation and petrol(gas).No such things as limos etc,etc,the most popular band van in use then(late60/70s) was the Ford Transit,or Trannie as we all called themI think the early photos of Stu and the Boys they were in a THAMES van....going from one motorway Cafe to another ..YEUK!!foodQuote

and Keith at the Blue Boar motorway services on the M1 (is that ALO with him?) £150 would have bought 6,000 cups of the Blue Boar's "TEA 6d" so I'll leave you to do the sums to work out how much that is in today's money....
