>> What guitar is he playing here? <<

that's one of the custom 5-strings that Ted Newman-Jones made for him.
there's a bit about them in this thread here: [www.iorr.org]

Try: Flipping Heck! They're fantastic!
Difficult to translate as it's an an English colloquialism, but I suspect your original guess is correct!

thanks for those beautiful Peter Beard collages, Honestman -
those shots of Keith at the El Mocambo (mislabelled Toronto 78) have always intrigued me -
Ken Regan was supposed to be the only photographer who was allowed to shoot that gig,
but maybe that's Peter Beard taking photos down in front in this Regan shot??

- El Mocambo march 4th or 5th 1977, by Ken Regan - was it Erik Snow who first posted it?

]For those who take a malicious pleasure to grab the pictures I'm uploadin' right here and repost them on Mickjagger.com i.e, I don't care, but at least think to credit me, it should have been fairwinking smiley
I've spent hours and hours in searchin', scannin' and editin' images, so I think it's the least you can do!

This is something you're just going to have to get used to, it's inevitable really that people will simply post the pics here and elsewhere without crediting anyone, even the photographer who originally took the photo.

Honest Man, how could I thank you?
Peter Beard is my all time favourite photographer and I do love hos work with the Stones.
Wish that famous book he was supposed to do with Truman Capote about the Exile tour would come out one day or the other ...

A couple of recent online discoveries:

1) Mick Jagger with Peter Whitehead, from this 2007 article (worth reading)

2) A shot of Keith which must surely be from the day of the "Walk in the Park" photo session in Green Park (11th January 1967) - but I've not met this one before:

Credits gratefully received if anybody knows them.
