Does anyone on the forum think that the Stones should play more Uk Festival type shows like T in The Park , Glastonbury, Reading, and The Isle Of Wight etc.

i wouldn't be at all suprised, if they headlined Glastonbury, on the sunday, next june.

That would be a great thing - a tour of festivals worldwide.

The point is that in the UK their are hundreds of thousands of fans who would love to see them but who can't afford the ticket prices. Playing festivals would be one way to get around this and get the stones exposed to a younger audience who otherwise wouldn't be able to see them.

The other way to do this would be, of course, to play GA stadium shows with reasonable ticket prices.

I think that they should and probably will, now that they have a taste for it. I'd expect to see them out again for one or two European festivals next summer.

Dare I say it, but this might be the future of the Stones now, the odd festival gig, other one off shows, rather than huge world tours.
