Grilled PB & Banana Sandwiches at the ranch to celebrate!!

Ingredients

2 large ripe bananas
6 tablespoons peanut butter
8 slices white bread
2 tablespoons honey
Butter

How to make it in 20 minutes

1 Cut each banana in half width-wise, then cut each half lengthwise into four pieces. Spread peanut butter on bread. Place banana slices on four slices of bread; drizzle with honey. Top with remaining bread.

2 Spread outsides of sandwiches with butter.... In a large nonstick skillet, toast sandwiches over medium heat until golden brown.

It sure would be more authentic. Maybe I can paint his face with the butter and it will appear to be Elvis if you squint...worth a try.

Listened a lot to Elvis the last month, as I bought the Walk A Mile In My Shoes and the From Memphis To Nashville box sets.....for some reason I didn't buy them before as I had most stuff there allready
What a brilliant version of I've Lost You on disc 1 of the Walk a Mile box. Was that a single release at the time? Not the same as the one on That's THe Way It Is album....and it's so much better

as far as I know 'I've Lost You' was only a single in 1970. Fantastic song as you note. Also worth seeking out is the alternate take from 70's alternates Volume 1 on Star...outstanding acoustic guitar fills that were mixed out and Ron Tutt is more Tuttier...
