Is there any difference between the version of 2002 (Made in Korea) and 2009 (Warner Bros.)??? The technical quality of the picture and the sound are not different from what I can see and and hear. And the 2009 version has even LESS GIGABYTE than the old one ... can anybody tell, what's the benefit of the 2009 version???

imho the sole 2009 reissue worth your attention is the bluray edition by Criterion...
A quantum leap in quality!

The Korean version is of course a bootleg version based on the Criterion release.

Compared with this the 2009 release lacks the photo gallery,two trailers of other films,
commentary on the movie scenes,and unfortunately the "making of" the audio and video transfer
from the old material with nowadays technology.

If you got the korean version you might miss the 36 page booklet now included.

The Korean version a bootleg? I didn't know! I bought it in an official DVD-store. Are you sure it's a bootleg?

Hey linnerz,I judged from what I saw,and that´s been a cover looking like
scanned from the original release with some letters I guess it could be korean.

The DVD itself comes in perfect quality picture and soundwise with english and
korean subtitles.

The booklet is missing....of course my "of course" in my first post could be
wrong.

And I never heard before "Gimme Shelter" DVD criterion edition was released
outside US before.

Strange enough this 2009 DVD isn´t the 1:1 criterion edition release as I mentioned before...

Can anyone tell me if the Gimme Shelter BLU RAY is REGION FREE?? AT The Max is actually available region B or Region FREE but since I live in Germany I cannot play regio A or C and so far it was only vailable in the US bit I cannot find Region code details on it!
