He is playing the root (g) with his long finger, string 6, otherwise I'm going to photoshop it. cool smiley

That's what I said.

And of course a power chord is perfectly playable by covering the B-note like he does with his long finger - if you control your strumming properly smiling smiley

Just came back from the store, buying this beauty, btw. Ever tried it?

His long finger... that would be his middle finger in common parlance

You're totally right Claire. In norwegian it's called the "long finger". My bad grinning smiley

Thought you said it was 3 cheeseburgers! I think in that era they were referred to as Wimpy Burgers if I'm not mistaken.

Mick Taylor in his years with The Stones always looked the part of a Rolling Stone, but he never acted, meaning putting on the right 'live act' persona of a Rolling Stone.
Everything musically and looking like a Rolling Stone was spot on.
He just didn't fit in as a high energy lead guitar player with the greatest band in the world .
He was so laid back and let the guitar do the talking.
Could say the same thing about Bill I guess, but he played bass and not lead guitar.
Mick Taylor in my mind was great in The Stones, but not everyone thinks that way,I guess.
The lads obviously have such a high regard of him still, that he is still a Rolling Stone allbeit as a guest. smoking smiley

Of course they have. Even Ginger Baker has. He was a fantastic lead guitar player.

Here's him with Billy Preston. Wonderful.

Well, in the latest issue of Rolling Stone Magazine, Ginger Baker remarked (can't remember exact words) in a caption by his picture, that the Rolling Stones were terrible musicians and he wouldn't go within 10 miles of one of their gigs. Hopefully, he isn't referring to Mick T. Not a very nice remark, regardless.

Let me re-phrase that..he said the Stones "were not very good musicians". So, not quite as harsh as terrible. Plus, he feels that Charlie is the best musician in the group. I simply don't agree with that. He doesn't have a high opinion of The Who nor Dylan, either.
