THANKS!

OK so its just a photoshoot but when you know Taylor left and the possible reasons why...Im guessing Keiths power clash with Mick is the reason he left.

The first one with Charlie on drums: taken on July 11, 1972 in Akron, Ohio.

The second one, solo: rehearsal with The Stones 1969. Photo by Michael Cooper.

And smoking while eating watermelon on the Exile cover.

You could not get a decent watermelon in England so this had Keith looking forward to USA tours and arranging for them to take place in the summer. (joking) UK is not warm enough to grow nice large watermelons, maybe small ones.

Smoking while eating is wacked but was common back then

Me too, sonomastone. Keith's favorite place to dwell is in his own thoughts, I've always loved that about him.

Lots of great photos here, thanks to everyone who posted one.

His image and probably self esteem shown in those 1973/1974 pics makes me think he was beginning to be a threat to Keith. Jagger wrote stuff with Mick T. and he didnt appear as the shy boy anymore. Just a thought.

His Les Paul looks old here. I wonder if it's a Custom Shop relic or if he's playing a real 50s LP with the Stones.

There might be some truth to that, although I think Keith's drug abuse at the time was by far the biggest threat to himself (and his relation with Mick Jagger and several other people).

I don't think even Keith would be so rude as to pick his nose in public. It looks like he is simply scratching his nose...also a common habit with snorters. cool smiley
