Don't bother going to his site to read it.........not much (if any) significant Stones info there. Mostly a journal of how to kill time on the road.....restaurants, shopping, hiking, tv watching etc....

However.....Chuck did get lost on his way to Orso (a restaurant).
Thank God he called the concierge to get better directions.

exactly! hey...i was excited when i got to his site and saw that had been updated....and then completely let down that there was absolutely nothing.

Orso is rather easy to find since it's close to the hotel the Stones stay in while they're in Los Angeles. Thank God for the "concierge." We all have one, don't we?

Chuck must really need a long rest after all the shopping and dining and the exhaustion of allegedly putting together the set list. We could put one together in the five minutes it takes to get to Orso.

People used to be, years ago. I don't think there's many Chuck-bashers now, when we know how many good things he does for Stones and the fans.
He's a great person, I'm hearing everywhere.

He's been with the Stones for... what... 20 years now?

He's the de facto musical director... By some accounts, he's the one who's helped keep the band together the last number of years.

Judging with my own ears, he's a really talented player.

And judging by the fact the Stones have kept him aboard all these years is a true testament to his talent.

That's all true, Schillid. I had a brief moment between 1989 and 1995 when I didn't like his playing. Now, I know he's doing a grand job. He joined Stones for the 1982 European tour, and guest-starred in Atlanta 1981.

Helluva a nice guy. Very accomodating - will sign stuff, talk to fans, etc.

He should be given thanks for:

A. Helping keep this band together and

B. Pushing for setlist variety.
