We all know they have to pass their physicals for the sponsors in order to get the insurance in place for the new tour.....not so sure at this point that 30 days of rehab would get Ronnie to pass that test if he is such the drinker...

I heard that when Keith Richards was in Mykonos like 10 years ago, he was fighting with his wife and I think he beat her but I am not sure.Just roumors.
Then why bother mentioning it at all?

There's one thing Keith loathes intensely. Men who beat up women. He would never do hat, and Patricia would never have tolerated such behaviour. They're in another league than Ronnie and the russian call girl. This might sound insensitive, and perhaps it is. I'm just fed up with Ronnies stupid behaviour.

Would be interesting to know whether the band have in their contracts (to people like Cohl, sponsors, UNIVERSAL, etc) a code of conduct - obviously it would differ very much from what you and i adhere to in our regular jobs... but my point is this:
Would his action (if proven true) force Cohl, sponsors, etc, to pull out of any deal if Ronnie is involved with the band?....
Would the Stones stick with Ronnie and go with a new promoter/sponsor who doesn't care whether members are beating up women, OR, would they ditch him as they're more interested in where the BIGGER BUCK £$£$ is at?

As the good book says.."let he who have no sin cast the first stone"
No pun was intended and we should all bear in mind we are all human and have our failings.

Where does it say he was drinking?
Dump her. The guy's never been violent in 60 years, and now she makes the scene and cops show up twice within a year. Let her write her book, she's trying to get his ass locked up. I had an ex that would scream at me for hours, and when I tried to leave, she called the cops and said I assaulted her. Never laid a hand on her - ever. She tries to drop the charges the day of court, but they wouldn't let her, and they found me not guilty. It happens sometimes when they're immature and they lose control of a situation. I ended up with the baby and her ass hit the pavement.
Who knows what happened, but the only thing that Ronnie Wood and any kind of violence have in common is Ekaterina. He should go to jail, though, just for being so damned dumb for not getting rid of her by now.

Again--funny/sad how quick many on this board are to put down and judge a person without all the facts...
Love/hate is part of passion and Ronnie not saying he was correct MAY have acted on his passions....Sometimes in life we do things we can't take back and for that we are wrong.
But no one is perfect...
I truely believe Woodie LOVED this girl with all his heart...He left his wife and children, His past life to be with this child. As time past he saw the true person and not the person he wanted...
(I do think she was in it for the money and fame and not for Ronnnie.) Sad for Ronnie and his girlfriend.
I also believe if the stories are true that he just exploded...Happens...I even bet she may have started the fight and he couldn't control himself.. Again he would be wrong..---But also Its not right for a women or man to be...........Emotionally OR Physically Abusive..
But it happens..Sad but true that women and men can and do lose their tempers...
What needs to be done now is for Woodie and this girl to move on and get help.
Ronnie Wood is a Rolling Stone and we still should wait until we hear his side of the story not just press reports and some unknown people who say they heard something...
Even if some of the reports are true, Ronnie Wood is human, can and will, like the rest of us, continue to make mistakes..
Lets not judge others unless you have walked in their shoes!
Woodie, Mick, Keith, Taylor, Watts, Bill, etc. are musicians and not priests, judges or elected officials and sad they make mistakes too.

People tend to forget Mick Taylor is more than 35 years older than he was in the Stones' prime. Wouldn't you think he degenerated just as much as Keith and Ron or do you expect him to have supernatural powers?
Crying for his return is like crying for Maradonna's come-back as a player for the Argentina national soccer team.

Nicely summed up, The Worst!
Agree on everything except this: Ronnie's not Keith's best friend. Blondie is.
And Keith's asked Ronnie to get his act together - or else he'll replace him.
If Ronnie doesn't pass his medical for insuance purposes (tour has to be insured!), he's out. Same thing if his assault conviction results in that he's unable to get a working visa in crucial territories for the Stones.
And Mick Taylor would not even make it to the first round of replacement discussions. You don't get rid of one problem, just to replace it with an even bigger one. I'm thinking Jeff - or Nils.

From news reports he didnt so much beat her as drag her down the street. She's not pressing charges anyway.

As a fan of "THE ROLLING STONES", all I can hope for is that this is a major wake up call for all of them. Get your shit together and keep it together, because time waits for no one.
As a fan of "Ronnie Wood", all I can hope is that he wakes up, sobers up, and grows up. You are not aging gracefully, my friend.
Here's to better days...
