[teye-guitars.com]

Teye used to play with the great Joe Ely Band in the 1990's and the Stones connection is that Bobby Keys used to play with the band in the 1980's and this past summer.

Anyway, check out these guitars Teye is now making. They are beautful and can't you picture Ronnie playing one?

Beautiful guitars!

Maybe they can make one with a built-in ash-tray for Ronnie!

I got to play one the last time I was in Las Vegas. They look and feel simply heavenly. The sound to me was really nothing special---for a guitar that cost
$3000+. Sounds like a good humbucker guitar, really warm but it had good high end sparkle on the bridge pick up..I played it through an old Fender Princeton.I liked the middle pickup setting was best. Really great crunch. I got it to sound pretty nasty playing the bar band version of JJF (Johnny Winters version).

It is art work. The one I played had engraved metal work with albalone. It was pretty heavy too. It played very smoothly. The thing that was amazing was that there were no sharp or course edges.Outstanding workmanship. It's a guitar would want to take to bed with you.The neck was great. It felt liked it belonged in my arms. The thing that was impressive was the tuning pegs and headstock. You really don;t pay much attention to them because the body is so cool. The thing was balanced really nicely.

The guy at the guitar store said it's a guitar for people with too much money.

I wish I had too much money! I think Vintage Guitar magazine has a write up on them this month.
There is a company here in Boston anmed Alden that makes knock offs. They aren;t bad for 300-400 USD.

Damn that is one guitar I'd love to own one day. And it's simply beautiful.

You got the Sun, You got the Moon,
and you've got
The Rolling Stones

Looks like a guitar-style for Steve Earle...

It's a question of taste.

I always would go for an original Zemaitis though I can't afford both of these.
