If, like me , you have been trying to get hold of a guitar strap for gigging that looks like Ronnie's, with the various tongue designs, without paying hundreds of $$ to the guy in Texas (so I was told) who makes them for him, check out Chris and Valerie Bond at

I saw the on e-Bay (where else) and they made a superb embroidered cloth strap with leather fittings, tongues, mick figure plus rolling stones and my name. All for about £25.

My next gig isn't until July now but I can't wait to show it off !

I've seen some pics where Ron and Keith have a real broad cloth strap on their weapons. 10 maybe 12cm.

I would like a new broader strap too, so show off your 25quid strap, chris

Keith's lightnin' bolt straps are much easier to mimic. You just need a decently wide £15 black leather strap, a bit of masking tape and some white paint ;^)
