What do you mean by search well? And another thing: Do they sell real beer at Amsterdam Arena? Been to Stockholm and had to drink that light beer stuff...

As far as I know the beer in the Amsterdam ArenA is as real as it gets.

Hi Robnab,

I can only see General Admission, no front of stage, through ticketmaster.nl. I have a seat in block 420, row 10 and am hoping to trade up for a fos ticket at the Arena on the night if I can. Paid for the ticket back in December & I couldn't get fos then.

Going to be a fantastic long weekend anyway, with the Bimhuis and the Paradiso thrown in !

Yeah, in the Amsterdam Arena you just buy your ArenA coins at the coin machine. At the bar you can get a beer for 2 coins, a joint for 3, and if you buy both at once, you only pay 4 coins! The guys with the beertanks on their backs have those belts over their shoulder, you know, the ones in which cowboys carry their riflebullets, but in these belts they carry joints. So even in FOS you can get a joint. It is a civil right in the netherlands, you know? ;-)

Don't be surprised if it is Event-beer in the ArenA, they always sell event-beer at footbalmatches too. So it will be convenient for the Amsterda Arena. And in Amsterdam in general, events with beer sold on the streets are also under restrictions of light beer. Not all events, not all street bars, but it is a regular measure.

Don't want to be negative, I just say that there is a good posibility, especially when it is very hot. Anyway, who cares. It will be a great show!

You can also buy a card that is like a calling card with credit on it. You use it when you buy your drinks and when it runs out money you get another card! Nice looking ones too. Nice little keepsake souvenir. I was impressed!

it is always nice to have friends around, Stonesbart! I have been very busy organizing the Bigger Bash! Will you come to Paradiso and to Tim's gig at the Bimhuis? Then we will drink a nice glass of Heineken and enjoy some great music.

Just ordered tickets for the bigger bash. Me and my two friends from the north of Norway are coming! When does the paradiso close on the 30.? This is Amsterdam, so maybe it doesn`t?

closing time: it all depends on the closing act, but I assume it will be around midnight. after that the night will be very long.... so let's assume there will be a lot of beer afterwards...........

if you get a taxi to Paradiso straightaway (bring your luggage into the cabin, then you will be able to leave the airport much faster) then you will be on time to see Chris Jagger and then the closing act.

I'm still thinkinh about the Bigger Bash, but I am going to Tim in the Bimhuis!

Pam (not going to the gig ....she goes to about 1 in 5 !!!) and me will be at the Paradiso, definitley (tickets arrived last week). We'll also be at the Bimhuis.
If you can get me a trade-up to fos I'll be your buddy for life !
We arrive Friday 28th and leave Tuesday 1st, staying at Victoria Hotel.
