Is there no chance that The Stones will play in Gotenborg? Have they cancelled the show for sure?

I guess no one knows for sure!
We have to wait a little bit more
and we will surely have an answer sooner or later.

I don't see any problems them travel to Gothenburg
in September. They are ofcourse in Bergen and Horsens.

Maybe there's a problem with Ullevi in September!

They have not cancelled the show! It is postponed to next year, with tickets still valid.

Also, they been trying to switch date with one of the german gigs, to avoid postponing, but I don´t think they were sucessful.

No, Ullevi is NOT booked for football September 10th. That game is played on Old Ullevi which is another smaller stadium.

Postpone a show one year? That's ridiculous!
The only reason they have postponed it instead of cancel it is that they want to keep our money for one more year. Which makes them earn annual interest on our tickets.
50.000 tickets times ca 100 euro each means ca 5 milions euro. For one postponed show. And that's not the only one.

I've been a hard core and faithful Stones fan for over 40 years but I'm really pissed off how they've treated their European fans this time. I'm sure they could have played several postponed shows in September (no problem with Gothenburg) but not at the usual schedule with a show every second or third night.
But that would cost them some more. Instead they seem to play America.

I just checked gotevent.se and it seems the September 10th game is at the new stadium.

I don't really understand why the Stones have decided to make Horsens the tour closer on 3 September, so far anyway, when they could play in Gothenburg on 5 September since Ullevi seems to be available at that date. Ullevi is booked for a soccer game on 6 September and by that time the stage would be removed and there still would be time for preparations for that sports event.

On the other hand, I wouldn't actually mind if the concert was postponed until next summer because every year with the Stones on the road is definitely a great year imo. I'll see them twice in London this August so I wouldn't be that disappointed if the Gothenburg show was postponed until next year.

For many of us this is a "lost year". Most of us don't see several shows in several countries.
