I have a friend who had the same operation/surgery in January this year. She is still not able to work. She tried one day this week (5 months after), and had to go home to lay down at 12, and didn't finish her day. She works as a nurse.
How will it then be for Keith in the noise (ment in a good way), when there's an earthquake under him in bass, treble and thousands of watts (not the drummer)?
I fear that he have to wait untill July, maybe August before he's fine.
But it's just for us to wait. I hope they don't start too early, so he need a break again.

Well as a counterpoint...I just saw a guy at the clinc where I am working that on May 8( irony ) went to the ER after a car wreck. He was sent home. On May 10 he went back, because on May 8 he left the ER withoiut waiting for all of his results. It seems he had a subdural hematoma found on CT scan and the hospital was concerned and went looking for him.
They then medivac'ed him to Honolulu, where he sat over night and they did many scans and tests per his version of the history, decided there were clots, no bleeding, and he was stable, so he could go. He came to me for follow up, BECAUSE HE WAS TOLD HE SHOULD. He has an occaisional head ache. By all history he was an alcoholic ass hole before the subdural and as far as I can tell that has not changed because of it.
The point I am trying to make is that for every subdural story out there that involves a bad result, as an MD I can find another that the finding on scan is almost incidental to the outcome on the pateint's life. AS with any health care situation, the patient's desire to return to normal often also plays a large part in my humble but professional opinion. Find and ask a Radiologist how many CT scans of older people ( and Keith is 62) show signs of old vacsular events and the patient has never known anything happened; you would be surprised I think at the numbers he will talk to you about.
Now with the delays , of course I worry about Keith. BUt lets looks at Charlie, he is a survivor of Cancer. I could tell you how many DO NOT SURVIVE THOAT CANCER. WE do not have Keith's medical records. His children, Ron's wife, and many others have said he is doing well. So for once generate some positive energy and belive what they tell you.

Of course not. If it was that easy Ronnie wouldn't have so much trouble not drinking.
I think it will be easier for Ronnie to avoid drinking with a sober and clean Keith. On the LICKS tour, he was just sober for the first months. He really shined on the Royale Palais show.
