Let It Bleed sessions remastered :

I dug out a CD with the above title, anyone know if there is detailed information anywhere about this CD and the session origins of the tracks. I have a lot of Stones bootlegs but this is certainly one of the most interesting ones. I got this it maybe in 2001 or so, anyone know the origin of the remastering? they did a great job on some of the tracks they are super loud smiling smiley

One other comment about this I knw there are a number of Iggy and the Stooges fans on IORR, there is a track on this CD called "Potted Shrimp" which sounds uncanilly like the Stooges when Scott Thurston was in the band.

Here's a good article on the making of Let It Bleed in Goldmine magazine.

Thank you Silver Dagger for the Goldmine's article. I used to subscribe to Goldmine. They write great articles on musicians and their music. No BS. Usually very well written with plenty of facts and interesting information. One of the best Rock and Roll rags, I think.
Rock and Roll,
