Even the last year he could look ok at times. Check out the 1969 pics on the Anits Pallenberg photo page. He looks fine at the premere of Candy that March.

Ha! You've never seen a more wasted musician than Brian Jones in the "We Love You" video. If you look at photos of Brian early on at the RnR Circus he looks pretty good, but it was a long ordeal. Ethan Russell said about 20 or so hours. By the end he looked a little frazzled. The last group pictures with the Stones taken, I believe, in the Spring of 1969 shows him not looking any worse than the others.
