I agree. There is clearly an EFFORT being made here, and for that we can all sit back and admire these guys. They may make us feel scammed from time to time ($45 event tee? $50 hardcover tour program??), but they are working and doing more than is required. The tickets are already sold; they could figure out a 40Licks set that works best and put it on auto-pilot. Frankly, it would be a great show and 99% of the audience would leave happy. Instead, we get Worried About You (Not a song they could play w/o rehearsing) and Mick just wailing away on the harmonica (which he didn't touch much during the first leg). Mick's playing on LIS and Rambler was the highlight of the show for me. Ferrante, if you are out there, Mick was spectacular.

ESKY, Jesus Christ himself could knock on your door and you would complain it was the SECOND coming.

Why so offensive? Don't you like this too? Don't you like changes?
So, wasn't Gazza right after all?

ha ha...not bad.

My gripe is that the Tour was too close to Licks.
At least playing 3-4 ABB songs it was starting to look like ABB Tour...not the Licks Part 2 Tour...that's all.
Why fork out 100s of dollars when we saw them play a similar setlist 3 years ago ?
If you have the cash then fine, but if you are like me (and not cashed-up) I want to see something "special" to get me excited and to fork out the cash AGAIN!

Love is Strong, isn't this Brown Sugar in slowmo?

And where is Let Me Down Slow? Where is It Won't Take Long? Where is their first smash
hit off ABB, aka Streets Of Love? Where is She Saw Me Coming? Where is Biggest Mistake?
Where is Dangerous Beauty? Where is Laugh, I Nearly Died? Where is Sweet Neo Con?
Where is Look What The Cat Dragged In? Where is Driving Too Fast?

Ah so, in the Garden they needed some show time for You Can't Always Get Want You What
and for Satisfaction. And so they spared all these ABB songs for Rome and for Rio.

Btw, rumour has it that the duet in Rio will be Mick and Shakira singing Star Star.

US is a slow market, big, huuuge country.
Probably not that speedy feedback after earlier attempts of
playing them thru this tour.
They will throw in the aBB songs one at the time, no doubt.

Ok, heres a question/complaint! Why did WE, in Boston, have only 20 songs, NO GIMME SHELTER, not even NIGHTIME? Was it the Friday the 13th thing rearing it's ugly head? Joking! But seriously, that was NOT a FAIR THING! Last night they played " Worried About You" AND " Gimme Shelter" and yet another premier, " Love Is Strong".!!! If they're going to mix it up, be FAIR! Do the same kind of adding and subtracting EVERY NIGHT!

Exactly, you just can't or won't satisfy everyone.

How long will this last & will they ever add any more ABB songs?

I am thrilled with the changes in the setlist, so much so that I'm probably going to Atlanta where before I wasn't planning on it. I'd like to see at least five ABB songs in there, but at least they are back up to four now. Three was totally unacceptable!

No-one can reasonably complain about the first half.

Now all they have to do is make the second half less predictable. Put a banger or two in there. Put a 'special' in there.

i.e make the 'second half' two thirds wardogs instead of 100% wardogs.
