Sway "rehearsed twice today" (prior to MSG 1-18)

I read with great interest on the "News" board that Sway was rehearsed twice for the MSG soundcheck...

Let's hope that's a positive omen for the fans at the Chicago gigs just days away !

New York can have Love Is Strong smiling smiley

Monsieur Né au Bayou,

With all due respect the Midwest already got "Sway" when Mick & Co. debuted it in Colombus. How about the boys play right here in the Big Apple this friday night?

I feel New York is getting cheated without "Sway" being played this friday night. How about if the Stones reprise "Sway" in Chicago?

Columbus is considered "the other Midwest"... it's even in a different Time Zone than Chicago (I think smiling smiley

FYI - LOVE IS STRONG was absolutely awesome and refreshing...you forget how good that song is live.

How can Love Is Strong possibly be any good ???

We have "learned" from this board how bad a bass player Darryl Jones is and since Love Is Strong is such a bass-heavy number, there probably was someone sitting in for Darryl at MSG... anyone catch a picture or the name of the guest bassist ???

I certainly applaud them trying out some "new" songs - I only wish they were NEWER, of course. Unfortunately, I'm just not a fan of LIS...never understood the fuss over this one....just a retread of Keith's Wicked as it Seems without the guts.
