There are so many. When the house lights first go down? Hearing Jumpin' Jack Flash for the millionth time but it still feels like the first time? One of my favorite is seeing the four of them bowing together after a show. How about yours?

Those moments of complete darkness while the weird jungle drums music is playing, when your expectations and excitement is at it's highest, right before Keef hits the opening cord of Brown Sugar, Start Me Up or whatever it is (it doesn't even matter).

Getting the credit card bill. It hits like 10 million volts.

The very first note from Keith's guitar sends me 4 feet up in the air. My heart makes a somersault, my lungs almost burst. My friends ear drum's not working for the first halv of the show, due to my lung capacity, sorry. Next big, fabulous moment: Two songs with Keith solo. Then, catching a pick from Keith.
After the shows, I'm ashamed of myself, happy, dead exhausted and ready for the next one. That's just about it, but it means an awful lot to me. Couldn't live without it.

The beginning and the ending

The few seconds before the band gets on stage ..when it's dark and that my heart beats so so fast ...and then they finally go on the stage ,it's so good ,like when you want someone so badly than it almost hurts.



I am a Frenchie ,as Mick affectionately called them in the Old Grey Whistle Test in 1977 .

One of my favorite parts of a show used to be camping out for tickets. Thanks to the computer age, that is just a memory.

I will go along with most and say the intro/first few tunes are best.

Yes - the ten first songs!!! If you want variation and surprises...that´s the spot!

Regardless of how many times Ive heard it, about 124 seconds into Start Me Up Ronnie peels off the first few licks of his solo and it hits me: The band's on stage.

There's no place I'd rather be.
