Agree with most of the above, but in terms of trademark couldn't-be-anyone-else performances I'd go for the studio versions of Jumpin' Jack Flash or Brown Sugar (studio BS just edging out the 1971 TOTP live vocal take - "get down on your knees" etc etc).

OK, this is going to sound crazy, but I've always enjoyed his vocals on Black and Blue...Hey Negrita in particular. The voice is so upfront and clear...not all that crazy about the song, but the vocals are awesome.

I haven't heard every live song, but one of my favorites, was Streets of Love, in Atlantic City 11/17/2006. That was so amazing, I don't know if it was just the energy of being there, or the emotion of Mick (which is always amazing to me), or a combination of the two. But man, it was just a great song to hear. I've heard it a couple of times before on that tour, but that was by far, the very best.
We seen them at the Boardwalk Hall one of the smallest venues I've ever seen the Stones at,and I tell ya, WOW! Just a great show!
I can't wait till the next tour! We will see them at least 3 times on the next tour. So I'll come out to an even 30x's I've had the privilege to see the Stones!grinning smiley
(Oh and the bootleg of the A.C.show that I have is called 'Home on a Bus')

To me it was either the young Mick from the days of The last time, Satisfaction, Play with fire,Paint it black, etc.
or the classic Mick of 68 to 73! Many great performances from that time!

You Got Me Rocking. The live versions are a bit dull sounding, but he lets it rip on the studio version.

Can't compete with Let it Loose, CAGWYW, SFTD, and lots of Black n Blue, but very happy to see someone mentioned Saint of Me.

"Moonlight Mile" for sure, but I'd also go beyond "Worried About You" to acknowledge the whole second side of Tattoo You. "Heaven," "No Use In Crying," and "Waiting On A Friend"-some damn strong stuff.

Robert Palmer [the late critic] called the vocals on that record, "yearning" and "detailed." I love that. Nails it for me.

For kicks, I love the vocals on "Emotional Rescue." A gas, gas, gas...

for me, it's the one-two punch of 'satisfaction' and 'get off my cloud'. those are great, great performances and no one else in rock has ever shouted in such a full-throated natural voice and hit all the high notes like that, before or since. jagger is a singular animal when it comes to being able to do that.

I think Let it loose is an impressive attempt from Jagger at doing something he will never really be able to do: be a soul singer.

So what about "I Got The Blues" from "Sticky Fingers" or the live version of "That's How Strong My Love Is" from Paris 2003???

Just to name a few:

Let it loose
Stray Cat Blues (particulary the first few lines) on Ya-Ya's
Sympathy on Ya-ya's
Feel on Baby
Let's spend the night together on Still Life
Hey Negrita
