I'm listening to Olympic Stadium Helsinki, Aug. 5, 1998.
Was anyone from here at this show? What did you think of the energy? It's a good show, but it seems to lack some energy. Not gangbusters like some shows I have listened to. Whatcha think?

Great album Rockman! (and a barking dog is a must for the blues...........)
I'm going to attempt to digest the new album by The Mars Volta, a band that toured with the Red Hot Chili Peppers last year. I'm going to give it one more chance. I thought I was too old but I'm beginning to realize it isn't very good.
Kasabian, and for all the hype this album got, I thought it was the second coming. Turns out I heard this all about 15 years ago when it was called The Stone Roses.

The Rolling Stones - NOW, Eric Clapton & His Rolling Stones (MSG 75), my band's recordings, Nick Drake - Bryter Layter, Jayhawks - Tomorrow The Green Grass, Luxury In Toronto (75), The Byrds - Farther Along (72).
Arcade Fire from Montreal. best stuff I've heard in years. I agree with R re. the Mars Volta. It's pretty self indulgent crap. R - check out Arcade Fire. Mercury Rev, Kings of Leon, Neutral Milk Hotel, any of the four Supergrass albums, any Primal Scream album since 94
