Imho putting the Paradiso trax **again** can be considered as an attempt to rip the honest fan off.
Why don't these Dutch bootlegers try to find/buy vintage studio tapes instead (sth they were so successful at with the Beatles) instead of living off someone's vast record collection...

This release is miserable imo, or it should be sold at the price of a single CD.

This release is right in line with most everything coming out these days: it's all about packaging. It's the same stuff coming out again and again in different configuration, in different context and themes and beautiful artwork etc. It's up to the buyer.

The problem is that loads of sites do not authorize legal tracks, despite the fact that they consist of hard to find b-sides, promo stuff etc...

I own about 80% of the stuff on different items, but since somebody did the compilation and mastering, I'd be glad to DL it, but couldn't find a site either.

Of course, finding a FLAC source would be just awesome

the revue is an honest opinion and I agree with a lot of it's observations, I too have got loads of these tracks on their original promo's,b sides and expensive Japanese issue cds,but I rarely play them as I generally don't make compilations of singles ect, too lazy I admit.
So this looks a fine way of getting a few more listens to them than they get now in their original form

Urbansteel could maybe rip his copy and post it on Megaupload...?

It´s true. You can release what you want about the Stones. Always have insastified guys. I am sure many people will say Exile On Main Street Superdeluxe box set is a crap. Many people said Get Yer Deluxe and superdeluxe box sets are craps, too. "The dvd needs has 2 hours. Not just 30 minutes. The extra cd has just 10 songs. He needs has 25 songs", etc.

Honky Tonk Women is the only track on Live Licks.

This was released way before Live Licks was even started.

These are full length versions.

Just downloaded this one from "you know where" and tested it with EAC and Trader's Little Helper. It seems that 15 tracks on CD1 and 5 tracks on CD2 are mp3 sourced (cut off at 17.5 kHz). For so called Warner promo at CD2 the source could not be identified (cut off at 20 kHz). Food charity 'Gimmie Shelter' has strange frequency signature, OK, that was taken from tape....

Those tracks on Stripped Companion and VGP-231 are CDDA for sure.

WTF? Is it a bad lemon? Could anybody who has an original Rattle Snake disks in hand run a check please?
