Yeah, I've been scouring the internet for her version but so far no luck. Same with Neil Young's 'Start Me Up.' Totally bummed until I came across a rare bootleg of Van Morrison covering the entire Dirty Work album. Life-changing stuff.
And I listened to the Cowboy Junkies' version of Dead Flowers. Pass the valium, Margo...
Seriously though, Little Richard completely owns Brown Sugar. If he ever claims to be the real author of Brown Sugar I'd believe him.
Truth be told: not much of 'a cover' (almost nothing of the original song is in there...) - it's more like a loose groove jam, based on "Baby please don't go" to be precise, with a bit of "Satisfaction" humming at the start - en some "it's awrite" repeating. But still: coming from JLH, that's a BIG salute.
Disagree on this one, I think it's terrible.
and can't comment, never heard it.

where did u find that?
came across Curious Kurt doing Hearts For Sale years ago, sadly only got half the song , have it on tape some where ,sounded great , have looked for Curious Kurt for years now no luck at all.

curious kurt plays keith richards was it entitled I think. They also had an EP with four or five songs on it. I have the EP on cassette somewhere. Among the songs were brown sugar,had it with you and you don't move me if I remember correctlyQuote
