RS.com: clothes for dogs...

..how much more can they humiliate themselves? And sink so low that they now sell clothes for dogs, what´s next?
Is this the work of JR, who put dog outfits on Keiths site?
I almost feel ashamed of being a fan...

I'm sure they don't give a shit - why should we? ;-)

Right.......do you think that any of the Stones even looks at their web site? I assume they are so far removed from this stuff they probably dont know their web address.

I mean, let;s face it, their machine thinks their fans are over 40s who have upper middle class jobs and tattoos where their bosses can;t see them.

At least I hope

I live in Scandinavia, which is in the arctic zone. Rarely do I see dogs dressed in clothes, it´s pathetic and looks stupid. It´s for people like Paris Hilton or some old widow with blue hair and a lapdog...

So what! The Stones play great rock and roll, why should it worry you if they want to sell ,doggie clothes?

Have you noticed Ethan Russell's overpriced rip-off book is STILL available.
How many copies ahs he sold? Fifty?
Not a smashing success for a "limited" edition of 2600 copies...

is it really any stranger than anything else with a stones logo on it? air freshener? lunchbox? wine bottle?

in 3 yrs we'll be saying the same thing when they introduce Rolling Stones patio furniture.

(do you know how difficult it was to come up with something that doesn't already have the logo slapped on it?) winking smiley

Yeah, it's bad. Of course, AC/DC does the same thing. Er, well, their name is on it anyway.

Nothing is sacred anymore. Ring tones? Stickers for the back window of a truck? T-shirts available at high end fru-fru clothing stores? Watches? Wind vanes? Flip flops?

Buyer beware.

Ah but this dog clothing stuff from rollingstones.com is just something fun to BITCH about innit? To think, that website is run by morons.

But will we see Ronski and Ekaterina's dog wearing this on the street? I think not...

Now my greyhound does need a coat in the worst of the winter when he goes out, because he spends most of his time lolling around on a sofa in a centrally heated house. I feel he's not really a fashion logo hound though.

Whoever takes care of the merchandice (It's not Jane Rose or her little Ruby!) and whatever it looks like - please take good care of your pets. If that requires putting some clothes on them for a walk in the wintertime - don't hesitate to do so. Yes it might look silly - but it's great help for a dog that's been breeded for generations to become a sofa coucheon, so to speak. Many of today's dogs are not fit for outdoorlife - particularly NOT in the winter.
(Sorry, just had to write this - crazy about animals, kids and music. Not quite sure in which order.)

I'll pretty much buy anything with a Stones tongue or a Georgia Bulldog on it.

The Stones approve and authorise rs.com to do business deals and marketing campaigns on their behalf, so to assume they're not culpable in any way is unfortunately inaccurate. Cohl's son is heavily involved in running the fan club.

Wishful thinking to believe that the Stones (or at least some of them) are blissfully unaware of what is being marketed in their name. The more likely scenario is that they simply dont give a f*ck.

Good to see that in times when they're not swamped having to deal with concert tickets and new subscriptions that rs.com can find the time to prioritise the marketing of a new line of dog clothes over the less pressing issue of reimbursing the thousands of fans they ripped off by promising them a DVD that didnt exist and still doesnt.

________

.. uh..if dogs needed clothes, they'd be born without fur..you know..like people

dogs are not dolls or babies..they are, well, DOGS

I have an Alaskan Malamute, if I dressed him in clothes, he'd bite my arm off

although dogs might want to consider wearing a jacket when smoking, just to be on the safe side
