I'm torn. Yes I LOVE Ron Wood. But most of that love is based on his action from the Faces, and his solo albums. Somewhere, somehow Keith deprived him of his cojones.
very underrated as a guitarplayer and not underrated enough as a "painter"! ;-) seems to be a lovely guy (besides his emberassing recent love escapades) and he saved the stones!
Ronnie pumped energy into the Stones - he has always looked the part of Stone more than Mick T did. His playing is good though he is no where near as technically brilliant as Taylor I think he meshes better with Keef
Ronnie is great. He was born to be a rolling stone. Jagger and Richards were right to pick him up as a replacement for Mick Taylor, nobody else would have lasted that long. He has kept a smile on his face and not missed a show in 35 years; he may be a drunk but most of all he is a trooper. I love you Ron. Keep on rocking ! Rock and Roll, Mops
Always excellent rhythm guitar. Great bass playing on "Break the Spell". Some great solos on "Beast of Burden" during the 94/95-Tour, also on "Gimme Shelter" during 89/90, very good solos during 75/76 on many tracks (Hand of Fate, Angie, You Can't Always Get What You Want). However often he fails to do a substantial solo part and some of his solos during the Licks Tour and the Bigger Bang Tour are pure musical nonsense (e.g Start Me Up or TD).
