There's always been alot talk about album openers. What about the last tune? My vote goes to MOONLIGHT MILE. It just puts you in a dream state as the album ends.

First to mind: Your vote of Moonlight Mile is an excellent choice along with Soul Survivor and Out of Time (Flowers).

You Can't Always Get What You Want...closes Let it Bleed with finesse! Ends a decadent statement, and ends the sixties with a fitting epitaph.

Moonlight Mile, though YCAGWYW would be the nearest competitor.
Though I do have a soft spot for Fingerprint File.

Moonlight Mile for sure. It's the ultimate closing track as Rocks Off is the ultimate opener

No brainer for me...Street Fighting Man from Ya Yas.....ultimate chain saw Rock'n'Roll....nothing else comes close...no wonder no encores on the 1969 tour...what could you possibly play after that!

Bridges to Babylon isn't my favourite late album, but the closing double of Thief In The Night / How Can I Stop is glorious

'I'm Movin' On' from December's Children!

The title itself, plus Mick's primal (or primate) scream ... not to mention that the first notes of 'I'm Alright' come creeping in at the very last millisecond, as if preparing us for more in the future. Highly (if unintentionally) symbolic - not to mention a riot of a song.

If I had to pick one,it would definitely be Soul Survivor.

I'll go with YCAGWYW over Moonlight Mile, but it's very close.

Another Moonlight Mile vote by me.

I do like how Buttons ends with "Something Happened to Me Yesterday", also.

I agree, but Waiting On A Friend is the last song I ever played with my guitar teacher growing up, before he "died." cough cough was killed.
