my absolutely favorite track since they lost a bit of their mojo in the late 70´s

Best new Stones tune in 20 years

It's a great song from a great album I feel.

I just do not know how they avoided being pinned by Whitfield and Strong for plagarism re "Papa was a rolling stone".

The verses are so similar and yet there was that rubbish re ASMB and the k.d lang song?

Weird.

I remember when I heard it the first time I listened to Bridges. I loved it right there at the first listen. As the song unfolded I was taken by it.Not normally how a Stones'song work on me. Usually it takes several spins. On that clip, the band is playing really well, I like it.
Rock and Roll,

The studio versionb doesn't do it justice, but it is the best song since the two on the She Was Hot single. Absolute favourite live song with midnight rambler, tumblin' dice, Saint Of Me, and Beast Of Burden.

This is a big one. "Out Of Control" has great dynamics in the way the structure of the song and the melody accompanies the storyline. Great drums from Charlie, by the way.
It's one of the top songs from the B2B album.

I think Milan may have got it in '06 or '07 - though only because they didn't get any BTB shows over there.

Yeah, true, and some others, even Giants stadium I think, but I meant, it should have been in there at almost every showsmiling smiley

Milan got it in 2003.
It hasn't been played since Seattle 2005.

Great done live. Best song on BTB in my opinion. As good as anything they have ever done.

It's so very lonely, you're 2,000 Light Years from home

I love them doing this live - have to agree with guitarbastard very close to Papa Was A Rolling Stone.

The trick of this song is the pre chorus. I can't remember exactly the chords, but the third one is a killer-

Of the live version I loved the horn solo, truly fantastic. It gives it a extra dimension that is great.

I think the stage presentation with the lights and all that is just plain silly. Do we need the flashing lights and Jagger's twisting to express emotional turmoil? Can't the guitars do it? Do they think we do not get it? Or that we need some stimulus prompting to respond? Do they even take their own songs seriously?
