You sure that's Clapton you're listening to and not Allman? Either way, phenominal perforformances.


Has to be Clapton. Allman only played a couple of gigs with the Dominos, both of them being on the same day in Tampa in 1970 (12/1/70?) and only one gig was recorded and it's of quite poor sound quality. All other Dominos performances, including the officially released soundboard stuff, features only Eric Clapton on guitar.

You are correct...his work with the Dominoes was his last great stuff...

Don't know blackmore, Allmann died in 70 or 71, I think 70? (Great Player No Doubt), and I never liked Santana sry.


Allman was killed in 1971.
He died in a motorcycle accident October 29, 1971
