Yesterday I heard "Eminence Front" by the Who on the radio. For years I had no idea what they were saying. All I could understand was "It's a put on", but was clueless about the rest of the song. It was very frustrating because I liked the overall structure of the song.
Some of Michael Jackson's stuff was like that. Thriller sounded like he was saying "Da da da Dillah . . . . "
It made me wonder about what songs you all might say had such impossible-to-understand lyrics. What about it? ("Louie, Louie" notwithstanding!)

Ha ha! My best friend from high school and I though the same about Thriller.
To this day we still get a laugh about it. That and in Bille Jean, we always thought it was "the chair is not my size."
And other friend of mine thought Eminence Front was "everything's f*****."

i gave up on most lyrics years ago. for me, it's the music. if the lyrics makes sense to me, that's just an added bonus.
