Oh but there is a special kind of idiota in Louisiana - the kind of people who stop at an intersection when there is no stop sign. It's AMAZING.

I have read some Dan Brown books, I really like them. Da Vinci Code, Angels & Demons, Digital Fortress. Also Charles Darwins The Origin Of Species,The Conquest of Gaul-Julius Caesar,Nostradamus-The Complete Prophecies, Great Speeches Of Native Americans, Black Elk Speaks,The Mayan Prophecies For 2012, The Book Of Enoch, The Gods Of Eden,Ghost Worlds, Faithfull, and lots of others that I can't remember.
If you have never read Black Elk Speaks, do yourself a favor and get that book. It is fantastic.
I thought Angels and Demons was a better Robert Langdon book than The Da Vinci Code. It had a faster pace. Plus those Illuminati ambigrams were pretty cool.
The Origin of Species? Evolutionist much? This board would go crazy over a Religion vs. Evolution debate.
Nostradamus is a quack lol. And isn't 2012 just the start of a new Mayan cycle or something like that?

Yes, its going to deal with the Freemasons, and its also the first Langdon book set in America-Washington, DC. Should be a great one. This is an interesting topic to me since both of my Grandfathers were Masons.

I feel yer pain akgameboy. I lived in Albany, Georgia for 6 years which was about 5 and 3/4 years too many. Mind you, I met some really nice people there and some of the biggest redneck @#$%& in Christendom as well. Coming to California 30 years ago was very much like coming through the Pearly Gates after that. Hope you can get out soon...

The shoe that fits: I have always been amused by the so called enlightened ones who put down a regional group of people because they happen not to share the same values or social mores. It is one thing to disagree philosophically with a group - be it the religious right, far left, gays, blacks, - you pick your special interest group. However, when the discussion erodes into name calling (rednecks, qu#$%^rs, N-word, etc.) one bigot is no different than the others. The same people who would never think of uttering the N-word, fag, and other such derogatory terms, have no problem slinging "redneck" around. What happened to tolerance for those you disagree with?

I don't blame you, NICOS.
If I had known that posting a 44 year-old video of Brian Jones was going to result in this, I'm sure I would not have.

Mind you, the thread title is "Georgia is full of idiots" not "All people who live or who are from Georgia are idiots" I think every place on Earth has a few idiots here and there and so Georgia is certainly not the only place you'll find them!
Amen to that one Fred.Quote
