OT--Procol Harum Grand Hotel album

I've been listening to this alot in the last few days.

A great band that's often overlooked...any art-rock pretensions they had were overshadowed by their classic-rock dynamics.

Gary Brooker is a fantastic composer/vocalist, perhaps never better than on the 1973 album Grand Hotel, produced by Chris Thomas, Any fan of the latter-day Beatles will find this of interest. The song sequence of what once comprised side 2 is in my mind, flawless.

I was a HUGE Procol Harum fan in the early-mid 70s. Starting with the live album, then Grand Hotel and Exotic Birds & Fruit.

A very good, under-appreciated band.
