I'm sure everyone in the stadium went home disappointed after Twist and Shout.

Twist and Shout breathes a new life with the E Street Band.....seriously

Could not have put it better myself.
Bruce has raised the bar so high that no one else comes anywhere near.
3 hours of non-stop rock , no long jams just great straight rock.
Hampden may be a crap venue for sound and vision but the crowd atmosphere made us forget these shortcomings.

It's the stadium wrecker Lukester....And it must be going over well, because he's been using it to close all his shows in Europe lately.

As usual with Bruce shows someone has compiled a series of CDs capturing every song performed on recent tour, without any duplication and WAIT FOR IT

Its 11 yes ELEVEN CDs. !!!

I'm assuming you know I was joking. I was responding to a previous post stating the show was ruined by Twist and Shout. It's a great song to close with.

Twist & Shout is such a generic song. There are better covers to close with. I've heard him do it many times and they do it well, but not really a strong ball busting closer. It's kind of like going to the dueling piano bar and hearing the players doing American Pie. Who gives a damn. Anyway, if I have time to write these editorials, I can't make excuses that are keeping me awawy for more important things. Enjoy your "Twist & Shout" while I blast Molly Hatchet's "Flirting with Disaster" one of the best rock songs...PERIOD!

I know of about 14 official CDs (not know all), so this means he has played almost every song he ever recorded. If that is not impresive, nothing is.

I have some of these. The Devils & Dust tour one is incredible.

The WOAD tour one will stretch to more CDs because there's another American leg to go.

Bruce has released 16 studio albums (plus a few live albums and a boxed set of unreleased studio songs). The songs played on this tour (and on 'Magic') have MOSTLY ignored the non-E Street Band albums (ie - he's played very little from between 1985 and 2002, nothing from Devils & Dust (2005) and just 'American Land' from the Seeger album (2006)). However, he's played a lot of songs that arent on studio albums plus a LOT of covers (most of them unreleased) in the 'request' slot of the shows.

Bruce played Twist & Shout twice during his three gigs in Stockholm and it did really rock the place.
I thought that Mony Mony was even better, though.

He's still playing Mony Mony. That is STUPID! Why not play Kool and the Gang's "Celebration" while he's at it. They are the E. Street Band, not some Wedding band clowns.

BOLLIX

tipping their hat to their influnces and Rock&Rolls history has always been part of what Brooce and the E-Street band were about.
