Jagger is SOOOOOOOOOOO far of everyone else it is a joke.

Bongo #4 - are they effin crazy. That guy has zwero stage presence and zero stage "moves"

The list should be called, "The top ten front men - AFTER Jagger"

some of the ones i agree with and some are a joke . i like guns n' roses but i don't consider axl roses a great frontman . the man has been known to have hissy fits and walk off stage in the middle of the show plus g n' r have only released 4 and a half albums of original material in 25 yrs with fans waiting 17 yrs for the last yr's released.

Those lists are totally pointless.

If Jagger's #3 on this list Steven Tyler should be #4 as I consider him the second best front man of rock. Mick'll always be the best and the best again,no doubt, but Tyler is f*ckin gorgeous, too.

Funny, I can never find a comment like this when Mick or any Stones are rated # 1.

Whether you love or hate Jagger and The Stones, Mick is the frontman that all others are compared to. He is second to none.

It's so very lonely, you're 2,000 Light Years from home

Good points but none either qualify or disqualify someone from being a good front man.

Mick Jagger has to be number one. He paved the way for everyone who followed. Greatest singer no but easily the best front man ever.

A list without Chuck Berry, Bob Dylan, David Bowie and Elvis is a joke.

No Elvis ?
No Jim Morrison ?
No Iggy Pop
No Prince ?

This list is a joke.
Why not putting Phil Collins first ?
What were the criteria ?
Plant is doing great in clubs and small venues, but I never saw him in a stadium. Can't really figure out how he could be better than Mick or Freddie.

Concerning the younger generation, Mika is extremely good seen live.

Yeah, this list is gone, might as well have included Bono and Pat Boone.

Rod The Mod would be on my list. Mick first, of course. Plant, Elvis, Morrison, Bruce, Van Zant, Bono, Daltrey, Seger - all great showmen, just different.

Thom York # 5 FRONTMAN?????????????????????? This is just crazy, I've seen Radiohead live a few years ago and I still can't find words to convey how boring it (and he) was.

Freddie Mercury in front of Mick I can accept - fantastic performer, but Robert Plant No. 1 - that'a too much.

To me he is overrated - he sings good, but to be honest a very boring performer.

Robert Plant was not very "exciting" - he just stood there. Tyler should be eliminated as he tries to copy everything Jagger does (as does Joe Perry of Keith)

1. Jagger

THEN HUGE GAP to next level...

2. Peter Wolf
3. Joe Strummer
4. Ian Astbury
5. Weiland
6. Elvis
7. Daltry
8. Townshend - not classic but he does "front" a lot of songs
9. Morrison
10. Mike Ness

About Tom Jones, I will always remember when the 75,000 people at the first gig in Wembley in 1999 sang along a proud " Delilah" !!!
