This is about the new Buddy Holly sets, Rarities and Memorial Collection. I haven't gotten them yet because I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that later this year all the tracks will be part of a box set. I've done some web searches and haven't found anything. Does anyone know more on this?

it's incredible--how many years was the kid playing, and he records 10 solid discs of music (well, the last one is the original versions of songs he covers--a great collection in itself).

I still do at Tapecity.org Seriously it's a beautiful piece of work (10 CD!) and I strongly recommend it to everyone!
Plus it's a slid upgrade over Vigotone's outtakes set from 10 years ago

it's the ultimate Holly collection - it's a labour of love, not done for the money - and it shows.

The proposed 'official' box-set has been in the pipeline for years,
but Maria-Elena, the how should we put it kindly?.."controversial" widow, of Buddy, has always blocked it.
