I love everything about the 78 tour... The whole Stripped down concept of the show, new kick ass material, the attitude. Plus the fact that they were doing this after people had written them off.

This tour was the absolute best. I was 6 yrs old but this is the era when i got into the stones. Now that i am older and am familiar with every single phase of the stones and all the tours i have to say that 78 and 81 were the absolute best. Stripped down and just pure rock and roll. 69 was great of course. and then 71 to 76 just seemed a bit too frantic and sped up and too "showy". 78 seems like they settled down and got back to basics plus it didnt hurt that they had a great set of new songs.78 was the best. IMO hands down followed by 81 and then 69. Stones rocked the late 70s and early 80s live
