It's Only Rock'n Roll - No. 37 - August 1999
The Rolling Stones Fan Club of Europe

As you read this, it is exactly two years since the Rolling Stones officially announced their Bridges To Babylon tour under the Brooklyn Bridge in New York, USA on August 18, 1997. More than five million Stones fans have enjoyed their shows since then, as they have toured all over the world. Due to the delayed shows in UK, we got another tour leg this year, and fans living in UK, Netherlands, Germany, Austria and Spain got 11 shows.

I have always wanted to write about an entire tour, day by day, but space has never allowed for such details. But with rehearsals and a tour all within one month or so, I thought it was possible.

So this issue will be your souvenir of the 1999 Bridges To Babylon Tour in Europe, with all the memories, photos, facts and details that can fit into this small format.

PS. I need your help!!! The next issue of IORR, no. 38, will be out by the end of November this year. I do still plan to make four issues per year, i.e. a new magazine out every three months, but in order to do that, I need a lot more help from you! Please write your stories, send your photos, news from your region, anything that is related to the Stones is useful for this fan club and the IORR magazine. With your help, we can do it!
