Rolling Stones i Sverige - från Baltiska Hallen till Bredänge by Börje Lundberg & Ove Tingvall.

This is a book written in Swedish, the title (translated) is "The Rolling Stones in Sweden", and it is a documentation of the Rolling Stones visits to Sweden. You know, there are hundreds of books published about the Rolling Stones, and a lot of them are just made by commercial reasons. Nothing wrong about that. But this one, I will tell you, is made by the heart - by the lifetime long love of the Stones.

I could not help but read this book all through once I got it. It was such a wonderful travel, like going to the early 60's, and following the author Ove and his journalist friends into dressing rooms, backstage, to each of the shows the Stones ever performed in Sweden, and seing all those great photos. There are many, many rare and unique photos in this book. They are printed nicely where they fit in, and as you read about the riot or the police on stage, there it is on the photo as well.

As a bonus, each book comes with a copy of the No Security promo CD sampler, including the great cover, with the Stones in front of a big crowd. The tracks on the promo CD are: Gimme Shelter, Waiting On A Friend, The Last Time, Sister Morphine, You Got Me Rocking.

The Rolling Stones - A Life On The Road by Jools Holland and Dora Loewenstein. This is a big and glossy book with great stories, real interviews, inside talks, and photos of course, taking you through the touring history of the Stones. This one should be availabe all over the world. Recommended!
